As Lake Norman Magazine put it, "We were very impressed with the decor. They have taken a small space and transformed it into a very elegant, and intimate restaurant. There is a definite contemporary flair in the decor as well as in the table settings. Beautiful in every way." A native of Naples, Italy Chef Caruso brings over 40 years of culinary experience and has been teaching his stepson Erbey Godino the tricks of the trade now for years. Chef has prepared outstanding meals from NYC, New Jersey to Charlotte. And you'll taste every aspect of that in his art. From his Lasagna Bolognese to oven roasted Chilean Seabass, there is always something unique at Caruso's. Chef insists on dishes you can't find anywhere else. At Caruso's, We take Wine very serious. We are so pleased to offer Lake Norman,
a Selection of Fine Wines from around the world. We proudly carry and serve
Amarones and Brunellos. As well as Barolo, Montepulcianos, Cabernets, Chinatis,
Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays, Pinot Grigios, Moscatos and others. As well as Italian
Proseccos and Champagnes. Our full bar also includes liqours for every occasion, from
Pomegranate and Dirty Martinis (Try the hand stuffed Gorgonzola Olives- a Caruso's
exclusive) to 12 year Scotch to Godiva Chocolate liqours and Limoncello for dessert,
our cocktails are second only to the delicious food we prepare. Cheers!!
Our Menu It starts with that first slice of Mozzarella Carrozza. This is what you have been waiting for all week. The oozing cheese, the plum tomato sauce, yes please! The armoa of roasted red pepper takes over your senses as you bring it closer and closer. Suddenly you smile inside and it's then when you remember that this is just the appetizer ....

Chef's Specialities Chef Caruso's Specialities
These dishes are what seperates us from the others. Entrees like Porcini Mushroom & Saffron Veal Chops and Seafood Lasagna to name a few. These meals are hand prepared by Mr. Caruso. There are selections available everyday for lunch and dinner. Chef Caruso's knowledge of fresh food and his desire to always be a little different leaves these dishes ever changing. "Consistent high quality food and always a pleasant variety is our goal." says Chef. The prices vary due to market pricing. The staff will be delighted to tell you what is available on your visit.

If you are striving for the perfect dinner party, Caruso's can help. We offer a very nice variety of dishes and are very accommodating to your needs. Catering orders are taken by Chef Caruso and preferably over a cup of Espresso. You can always stop in or give us a call at 704-658-1000 Please allow as much notice as possible.
